WEEKEND UPDATE
Yeah, so I’m doing this on a monday night. It was a long weekend, so it’s all kosher or something. Just shut up, or something.
This long weekend thing was full of much of the funs. I worked on setting up my BSD firewall to be a Network Time Server, so all the computers in the house will now have accurate clocks, which, in addition to being something vaguely worthwhile was just another excuse for a foray into a unixesque environment. Maybe I’ll switch over to TEH LUNIX someday, or something. I got a Homie from the vending machine at Marsh– whitey with a big coat and baggy pants and an orange baseball cap with an unrecognizable letter in an old-gothic font.
Yeah, so Saturday was a blast. </sarcasm> Took the ACT again, and don Lalo drove me home in Eleanor as I didn’t want to drive the truck as I damaged the driverside quarterpanel and felt bad about it. Eleanor is quite a vehicle. Went out with the fam to lunch, and I don’t remember doing much else that day. Was that the day Doggamus and Seamus came over in the evening? I don’t know.
Speaking of which, since I can’t remember which day it was, I’ll just write about it here. Yeah, so I had the maximum in doggitude and Seamus Riley O’Flannigan over some night for pizza and a movie. Also, Zeonic Front. But mainly pizza and a movie. And GT3. But, yeah, a movie. We watched 5th Element, which [insert another ‘clever’ permutation of ‘Kramedog’] hadn’t yet seen. I like that movie. Korben Dallas! Korben Dallas! What’s the word of the day, Korben Dallas?
Sunday was a blast </seriosity> After church, clebrated El Baile’s 18th birthday at Benihana’s, which is much of the good. I like Japanese food– it isn’t bitter, it isn’t spicy, it’s tasty all around, but it just isn’t sweet at all. Except for Green Tea Ice Cream, but, you know, isukurimu isn’t exactly a Japanese invention. Molly got me another Homie! YES. A Brotha’ wearing a red hoody and his hands out to either side. After Benihana we we went to the park, which was interesting. El Baile exercised his right as a legal adult to smoke an awful smelling Honduran cigar. Did I mention it smelled awful? Blaugh. I mean, the cigars Pops and Mr Burke smoke don’t smell nearly that bad.
Also, today, Guy Montag, was pretty fun, too. School went well, and allusions to me as being part of the triumvirate of foreign lnagauge club presidents led to me crossing the rubicon and shouting THE DIE IS CAST after school. I can’t really remember anything at all noteable from the Lunch Table Conversation, except for the Nazz commenting that I’d probably give him a bad writeup today, or something. Oh well, you lucked out, Nazzy, I seemed to have forgotten.

Paragraph the 5th made no sense to me. But I suppose paragraph the 4th made no sense to whoever you went out with on sunday. Olé

Looks better. Remember info still doesn’t work, and the target for “post comments” is still screwedwared. But it’s improving. The die is cast–maybe Caesar should have said “The dice are thrown” if that is what he meant. Deliberate vagueness is not something we need in our great Western leaders.

Well, it’s completely unambiguous in Latin </Nazzy>. But, seriously, I’ll figure out what the deal is with these comments eventually. Bah.

“The die is cast.” Dramatic, eloquent, and quite uni-compre-hensi-ble. 😉
Note on cigars: import v. export might have been one reason why your “Pops”‘s cigars smell less bad than your friend’s.
