Today’s Delicious Recipe

Yeah, so, what’s crackalackin’ out there in readerland? I hope it’s as rockin’ for you as it is for me, or something.
Today was most excellent. Well, maybe it was only pretty quality, but, just like Conan O’Brien, I’m going to lie about the excellence if it doesn’t actually exist. Anyhow, I love having this 0945 and an 1145 and a 1500– I get a bunch of free time and it also seems like the day has been really long, which leads to fulfillment. That’s the ticket.
Hopper! was awesome today. My entire life has consited of me awaiting the day I would be in a class like this. Seriously. What did we do? First, we discussed and contrasted the differences between Sumerian, Egyptian, and early Greek artistic styles, followed by a short interlude on why Post-modernism is criticism gone to seed, and wrapped up with a discussion of Andy Warhol. I mean, holy crap. HOLY CRAP, MAN. DUDE. OH MY GOODNESS.
But, seriously. It’s an awesome class, although I hope I don’t talk too much. I really like it, though.
I did miss sitting in Dusty’s room listening to him play the guitar while I do random stuff all afternoon, though I did see him during my lunchbreak, which is a rare occurence. We mainly debated the merits of various writing utensils while perusing the Bookstore. By the way, our bookstore apparently doesn’t get the old MS discount since XP pro is on sale there for like 200 bucks or something. OMGWTFLOLBBQ
So, dinner was decent. Just one of those wrap things and some Sierra Mist. I enjoyed watching the State of the Union without any moronic commentators (thank goodness we get C-SPAN on our crappy cable), though I’m sort of apalled at how informally some of the members of Congress (especially Hastert) were dressed. Oh well.
