Street Cred with C-dog O’ Bling Bling

Jump to Comments Did anyone else see Conan last night (Freitag)? Oh my goodness, it was absolutely hillarious.

Oh, so I finally got my Mayer tickets yesterday: Section C, row O (A-D aren’t used, so this is even closer than it seems), seats 16-17. Is anyone still in town that likes his stuff, and wants to go with me? Otherwise, I’m taking the MTA or something.

Finally. I’m going to upgrade the blog to MT 3 today, so it’ll probably be funky for, like, the next week, knowing me. Comment resigstration’ll probably work soon, though. XD

  • Hahahah comment remember works

  • Hahaha, if you have a typekey identity, one doesn’t even need to put anything in the form fields, so the rememebering is irrelevant.

  • Yeah, this is pretty slick. Now to just redo all the templates. All fifteen of them. Waugh.

  • Cool new look!

As for Conan … he’s had much, much better. But I did like a few particular jokes, which I shared with the Comrades at China’s Best last night. One of which was:

“Reports say that the British military has developed dried food rations that you urinate on to rehydrate. Yeah … that’s right … the funny thing is, British food is supposed to taste like crap.”

A well-made joke, even if it is wholly incorrect, and I have to admit that I think urinatable-food rations sounds like a really cool, hardcore development in military science.

But on the whole, I didn’t think the episode was too terribly funny. He had Carson Daily/Daly/Dailey/however the heek you spell his name, and that guy’s none too funny. And as for the pre-interviews humor, he was spoofing summer movies on Friday, was he not? “I, Rowboat” and the like. That was moderately humorous, but not Conan’s Grade-A material.

  • Did you pay for MT 3? I saw on the website they wanted money… 🙁

  • No, you can have three visibibly seperate blogs (as opposed to integral blogs) and one author for free in MT3. All my CMS ‘blogs’ are staying MT 2.66 for this reason.

Also, Ryan– FYI, this is the default template. I don’t like it. The real ones will be back once I rewrite them.
