Yeah, so I’m reading an article on wired today, and there’s an ad about Samsung’s new DDR2 RAM chips (I still say RD RAM was better, shut up). The copy for the ad reads basically thus:
REVOLUTION 27
NEW IAATB TREND

Evolution 1960 New Fashion Trend Neck Tie Evolution 1980 New Fashion Trend Mini Skirt Evolution 1990 New Fashion Trend Jeans Digital Revolution 2004 SAMSUNG DDR2 It's FAST & It's NEW Digital Trend Samsung DDR2Um, whiskey tango foxtrot, over? None of those years are right for the ‘new fashion trends’ ascribed to them. The more-or-less modern neckties came into vogue in the late 1800s. Miniskirts were popularized during the 1960s. And jeans… well, I don’t know why they’re so popular, but I know Levi Strauss was cranking stuff out before the American Civil War. I mean, if you’re going to make a bunch of barely-related copy to advertise your new product, at least make sure the copy is at least vaguely true.

Clearly you have never taken a history class in your life! You don’t know what you’re talking about, that ad is 100% right. Furthermore, we have always been at war with Eurasia.
