Some of the stuff in this is freaking nuts: “40-knot flank, no smoke”? “warning shots off the bow”? “boarding party?” Dude, I hope the Navy guys had a little sense of humor after they got done taking care of buisiness, you know — maybing asking the pirates if they were going to swab the poop deck, you know, or something about swashbuckling technique.
