So, here I was under the impression that the Internet was a redundant, interconnected, worldwide series of data links communicating primarily via TCP/IP. Somebody had better call up Oxford and the American Heritage Dictionary, because me and them are all wrong.

That’s a great video. Jay put it on his Xanga about a week ago, but I prefer your presentation of the video. Especially since you got me excited to read about how the Internet works. You got my hopes up! :p
I don’t like the argument that old people don’t get technology. I love to think of examples like Matt’s grandpa. But then Ted Stevens comes along and reminds me that it’s the fate of every old person, ever, to become “out of touch with the times.” Which sucks. I like to believe that people can stay in touch with modern life regardless of how old they are. :\
