Jump to Comments So I was reading this article on slashdot about how paypal reneged on a bunch of payments to Indian subscribers, essentially because Paypal pretends not to be a bank and the Indian central bank is turning the screws. At least, that’s why according to this slashdotter Naturally the first thought to my mind and that of many other was that beautifully racist phrase “Indian giver” and naturally somebody posted a wikipedia link. It’s pretty informative about the possibilities of the origin of the phrase, and then, you know, I scrolled down to the “See Also.”
