Becasue of the way my schedule is, I’ll often have a thought and no one to share it with. Sometimes I
ll throw it up on twitter, if it doesn’t really merit a response, or send it to an individual via text message if it’s particularly suited for a single recipient. But what about the gaps, where it isn’t really tailored for anybody, but it’s not just an out–of–context quote from House MD?
Well I use the multiple recipient feature on my Sony Ericsson W995. Does an iPhone have that? (PS I don’t care!) Here’s a branching transcript. Is it wrong that I decided to have Japanese for lunch after a class where one of my students told me him missed class Friday because he had some bad sushi?
Well banzai it is.
Yeah, kind of.
That’s actually the case.
Aw geez.

Go for it.
‘Bad sushi’ is redundant.
So you’re having it because the idea of bad sushi made you hungry for sushi?
Or, were you just passing by and you decided that sounded good and later remembered your student saying that?
Oh. Well, I guess that’s kind of weird, but I specifically remember seeing cadaver pieces in anatomy lab and then being hungry for steak later.
No, just a word association moment. You should be fine as long as the fish is, you know, dead but colorful.
Nope! Now I want sushi too!
