Secret Ware(z)house

Jump to Comments Yeah, so this weekend was pretty baller. Alex Cone, Brian McNabb, and some other gravy vavies have this warehouse they’re renting where they’ve built a mini-venue. On Saturday night, they had a show/jam session for just a few friends. It was pretty cool, and I got to learn how to play the bass, which was hillarious. A bunch of funny things happened, but since I’ve been so derelict in updating this blog that I’d have to put so much background info up to explain them there’s no way they would be marginally humorous. Last week, I got some film for my old 1960s medium-format film camera. I’ve been taking some fun pictures with them, hopefully they’ll turn out. I’ll be hearing from  the JMU Masters in EU Policy in Florence sometime this week. If it doesn’t pan out, I’m pretty sure I’ll be going to ODU for a doctorate in International Relations. But first, I have to write four more papers and go to quiz bowl nationals this weekend. I think I have about 5 weeks left in this awful town, and I’m so totally counting the days ’til I can go back home.

  • I can’t believe how close the end of the year is. Time is racing! But in my case, I really wish that I could put on the breaks. Take a breather. Slow down. And enjoy my final days here at Purdue. I’m going to miss it … although I’ll eat those words if IU ends up placing me here for med school! D’oh!

You say you have ~5 weeks left. Sounds like you’ve got the same situation as us. (Our last day for finals is May 5. Graduation the following week.)
