Jump to Comments Yeah, so I was just thinking about how many credits I have taken that don’t apply directly to my major or minor. Because I know that someday soon I won’t have access to the wonders and horrors of luminisweb.harding.edu , I thought I’d just make a little list of all the hillarious and bad and awesome classes I’ve taken. Oh, and a LMRS scale!

  • 312 credit hours.

  • How do you figure 312? 9+18+22+6=45

  • Lowest score being a -2, I’d say it sounds like overall a good experience.

  • No, I was just saying that I have 312 credit hours, according to my most recent check on SSINFO. No idea how many credits I’ll wind up with in the end. Crazy, though. (Half of the credit is a combination of AP exams, one year at Caltech, and testing out of the first four levels of French. A little crazy how easily Purdue hands out credit hours. O_o )

As for you, I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a waste of time. Only if you feel it is. If it was worth it to you, then it was worthwhile. Only if it was worth it to no one, including yourself, should you really regret any of the “excess credit.”

When will you be back in Zionsville? I want to show you my Pogeymans … and I should be able to come May 4.

  • What’s the amount of credit-hours needed at purdue to have senior status? I could have gotten supersenior status this year (no red tape for living off-campus, etc) because I was over 120.

  • 120, Ben. ^_^; Dude, the Federal government actually steps in and asks Purdue to shoo you out the door once you get over a 180 … as I found out the hard way.

Come to think of it, though, I can’t have 312. SSINFO must be glitchy, because I had 183 in August 2006, I think … hmm … I’ll look into it.
