Shorts rule repealed

Jump to Comments I just thought that Matt might like to know, that, along with a few other regulatory changes announced today in chapel, the wearing of “moderate shorts” is no longer time-restricted on Harding campus, effective Intersession (Maymester).

  • Meaning you can wear shorts all year round? Or meaning that you can now wear shorts until such time in August/September when they make another announcement in Chapel saying, “Okay, shorts were fun, but now, no more shorts”?

I don’t have a good feel for what Arkansas temperatures are like — how much of the year (to YOU and YOUR comfort zone) is shorts-permissive? Possibly the same answer and possibly not, how much of the year is not pants-permissive?

Are you spending May in Arkansas? In fact, how much of your summer are you spending there? You may not know, but I am spending nearly my entire summer here at West Lafayette. As I have no car, it means that (unlike Doggimus Maximus) I can’t even drive to Zionsville to hang out. Meaning either you guys have to come get me, or you should schedule the Big Catan Get Together for a designated-well-in-advance weekend. Unless, of course, you won’t be home in Zionsville yourself. In which case …

“I like shorts. They’re comfy and easy to wear.”

  • Score one for the good guys.
