Neu·haus
[ˈnɔıhaʊs] (noi'
hows)
NOUN
1. The new Lamb Family Residence, located South of the town limits of
Zionsville in rural Boone County. The street address is contended
between the federal and local governments: Boone County prefers a Boone
County Road 800 South address, the Post Office a continuation of the
Indianapolis/Marion County road designation system, probably due to
inaccurate maps (see Lake Lamb).
Its location was known as The Property before construction of Neuhaus
was complete. Compare Althaus.
Germanification of 'new house'.
